Nothing you point at us leaves your device
Camera frames and uploaded photos are decoded in your browser — no image is ever sent to us. Only the short code goes over the wire, and we return the code only if it belongs to your account. Anyone else scanning that same code just gets sent to the destination, like any other visitor.
