Terms of Service
Last updated August 2026
Draft — not yet reviewed
This is a working outline, not legal advice. Have it reviewed and fill in your entity details before taking real customers.
By creating an account you agree to these terms.
What you may not point a code at
We take this seriously because a single abusive destination can get our domain flagged, which breaks every code every customer has ever printed. Accounts that do this are suspended without notice.
- Phishing, malware, or anything impersonating another person or business
- Content that is illegal where it is hosted or where it is scanned
- Sexual content involving minors, or non-consensual intimate imagery
- Chains through other shorteners, or anything designed to disguise the final destination
- Automated bulk creation of codes without arrangement with us
Report abuse to abuse@scanivo.cloud.
What we promise
A printed code keeps working. Exceeding your plan limits stops you creating new codes and pauses analytics. It does not switch off a code that is already out in the world. The same applies if you downgrade or stop paying.
The exceptions are narrow and we will say which one applies:
- The destination is found to violate the rules above
- A court or competent authority requires it
- You delete the code yourself
Your content
Your destinations and your data remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — storing them, resolving them, and checking them for safety.
Payment
Paid plans bill monthly or yearly in advance. Prices are shown in your local currency; Indian customers are charged GST. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the period ends. We do not refund partial periods, but you keep everything you have already created.
Availability
We work hard on redirect uptime because physical objects depend on it, but the service is provided as-is without a formal SLA. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the previous twelve months.
Changes
We will email you before any material change. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
